10/27/2022 0 Comments Load wii iso over network![]() ![]() My daughter just wanted to play Wii sports and I was too lazy to find the disc (that probably is broken lol) Well I hope whoever sees this post on a google search will help them. Now ever since I hacked that Wii U like 4 years ago I’ve never been able to boot Wii ISO’s on it. Then I clicked on usbloader gx and it actually loaded both flash drives and every single game popped up and they actually work. I stuck that one in port 0 and I took another flash drive with one game formatted in fat32 with back up manager. I removed a flash drive from a regular Wii containing about 5 games and its in wbsf format. So I went into usb loader gx settings and I saw that I could change the USB ports so I made it so it would accept both ports. after following that guide above and getting the cios updated nicely or whatever I tried opening usb loafer and wiiflow but the Wii U wouldn’t load my flash drive actually it said insert drive into port 0 I tried Wii back up manager on a flash drive I tried Evga manager I even tried just sticking the iso on the root of a fresh formatted fat32 drive. Super Edit: Ok this is stupid fuckin bullshit weird. Wii U’s are on 5.5.3 and the Wii’s are whatever the hell the last update was.Įdit: just followed this guide Ugh am I on the right track? Basically you have to configure a DHCP server to load pxelinux onto your mobo. If you want to boot the kernel and initrd using PXE to start an install, there should be a tute somewhere at the OpenSUSE wiki. WOL is not related although it is also implemented by the BIOS code. ![]() I installed Nintendont as a stand alone channel and it won’t work but will run through the home brew channel. Re: Boot/Install from iso over network PXE uses DHCP and TFTP, yes. #Load wii iso over network install#Another problem I seem to have with all 4 consoles is that when I install a wad file as a channel on any of these consoles the channel just reboots my consoles. Nintendont and everything else seams to load fine on the exception of a few emulator apps. The Wii U’s however won’t load Wii ISO’s from usb loader. Both regular Wii’s will run Wii ISO’s with usb loader formatted with the wbfs manager app on a usb stick. ![]() I have 2 Wii’s and 2 Wii U’s all of them have the home brew channel. ![]()
